MEET HRADAY JOSHI – HE WAS AN EARLY DEVELOPER

MOBO Media

We would like to introduce you to Hraday, MOBO’s very own in-house developer.

Although known for introducing the office to some weird and wonderful Asian delicacies he is also a pretty dab hand at web development, bringing designs to life through code. Working closely with the MOBO design team Hraday is the longest-running web developer at MOBO, since 2012, bringing with him a unique coding style that can be located in all of our projects.

With code being such a talent we thought we would fire a few questions at Hraday, learning more about life as a MOBO team member.

When did you first know that you loved technology?

I was 5 years old and my dad took me to a science fair where I saw a lot of projects such as a bulb controlled by clapping your hands. My father also bought a gaming console for me. Trying to work out how these types of things worked fed my love for technology in general.

What type of toys did you play with as a child?

I used to play with K’nex, Lego and my Gameboy.

Which MOBO project are you most proud of?

Spice 2 Go’s back office system. It was my first big system that I made from scratch and I am very proud of it. It is a sophisticated system and gave me the confidence I needed to create other intelligent systems.

Do you have any advice for aspiring coders and developers?

Programming is fun if you understand the basics of programming. I would recommend that any aspiring programmer should learn basic programming languages like C Or C++ before learning the language they want make your career in.

If you are new to programming use flow charts (I know they are boring but it improves your logical thinking).

Also, it is important to always use Naming conventions and comments in your code and make ER – diagrams before creating a database.

Do you have a pet hate?

Yes, when people do not put comments in their code.

What is your favourite flavour of crisps?

Worcester sauce, they pack a punch!

If you think you would benefit from Hraday’s skills be sure to contact MOBO and learn more about the various services obtainable.
